Security in Dynamic cubes

Hi All,

I have a virtual cube with 2 base cubes. Both the base cubes have location dimension. Here is the structure of location dimension - Country > State > County. I have added a security filter which denies Country Canada to a set of people.
I published the cube and added people to the security view. They are not able to see the Country Canada.
When the user pulls Country and NetSales into the report in Analysis Studio, he sees Sales of all countries except Canada. Which is good.

Now I have another dimension called Product.

When the user pulls product and net sales into the report (without location anywhere in pictures), he sees total sales instead of Total sales excluding Canada region.

Can any one help me and explain me how to achieve this.

Thanks in Advance.

When you added security did include it on the product dimension as well?

No I haven't. How do I include it on Product dimension. There is no field on Product dimension specific to Country.

Moreover, I want the user not see Canadian Sales included in Net Sales when they just pull the NetSales measure irrespective on any dimension.

"Cognos Dynamic Cubes security does not support visual totals, which means that the
summary values are not adjusted when some of the lower-level members are hidden (except
as described in 9.14.5, "Cognos Transformer Exclude option" on page 317). For example, if
measure values for cities in a country are returned along with the total for the country, the
value of that total does not change if some of the cities are hidden due to security restrictions"

Have you tried 9.14.5 Cognos Transformer Exclude option
