Bar Chart and the Width of the Bar or Column (Report Studio (10.2.1))

I have a Column Chart and the Size of Each Bar (different colors) based on different X-AXIS category is very
small. So, the width of the bar for each chart category needs to be widened.

Any idea how to do this?

I think this is what I am looking for also. I have a (horizontal) bar chart where the amount of categories varies widely. That means that when I have a lot of values, my bars are very thin and when when I have few values they are thicker than Flemish fries. I look around, but so far it seems that Cognos still lacks a way to fix the width of the bars without giving a width for the chart. Anybody has a tip on how to fix it?

I never got a good answer on this. I'm glad you are asking the question again. I even open a call with IBM but didn't get a good response. There has to be a trick/// :o :o
