Hi all, I have a distributed system, I have installed mobile app tier with dispatcher and mobile gateway along with the BI Cognos server host gateway.

When I try to access the page ...ibmcognos/m/isapi i get the following error:  sorry the following error occurred while making your request. Unable to load balance the request because no nodes in the cluster are available, or no nodes are configured for the service: mobile Service

Furthermore there is no mobile service in the IBM cognos services list even though I have installed the application tier in the same system with the dispatcher.

Do I have to install cognos mobile on the same folder as the dispatcher ?

Any one please help!!!

You need to install the mobile server install into the existing Cognos 10 instance on every application server in your architecture. You then need to configure and start each application server. You should see the mobile service in the list of services in Cognos Configuration when you select "IBM Cognos services" - you need to make sure the service is enabled.

Cheers!

MF.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I have since installed the mobile in disp1 which is a 32 bit, can see the mobile services being set to true. But displays the same message as before.

Other thing I have noticed is there are no tables created in CM for mobile, even though the mobile default database in the dispatchers notification section in data access is pointing to the same Content Store.

This was solved by creating a new data source in configuration and pointing towards the CM

i am facing the same problem
and i created a datasource in configuration pointing to CM
but still getting the error
