Excel 2007 Data format is ... well, data. It's not supposed to be formatted. It is meant to be just the data from the first data container (list, etc) - for the user to do whatever with it in Excel.

As bdbits says, if you view the report in "Excel 2007 Data" format you won't see the report headings...you'll see something that look similar to viewing the tabular data.If you pick "Excel 2007 Format" instead you should see your headings.

Thanks Bigchris,

Actually i got request from the user to put some label in the header on the report.the report default format is excel 2007 data(user wants this format only)

From the Report Studio UG on Excel 2007 Data report output format:

QuoteThis format is similar to a comma-separated values file (.csv). It has no formatting such as headers, footers, styling, or data formatting.

So, as others have pointed out, what you are requesting is not possible. What you may be able to do in your report is to strip out as much formatting as possible. Put your title in a block above your list, then turn off Page Header & Footer, in order to make it look like Excel 2007 Data format. But run it in Excel 2007 Format to keep the title in the output.
