Data Dropdown List unexpected behaviour

Hi there,

got a very simple report, one data dropdown list controlling a data deck, which contains a chart linked by master detail to the deck. Technically, it works just fine; there is just one thing funny with the drop down: The list contains some ~30 values, sorted ascending. When I select an item that I need to scroll down to (from top of the list), and then open up the dropdown again, the list is automatically scrolled down so the last selected value is visible at the last line of the selection window - this is pretty much standard behaviour for dropdowns in systems everywhere.

What's funny is that on this particzlar dropdown, this behaviour isn't there ony for two particular values. I.e., I select values A, B, C or D, and then open up the dropdown again after that, I see exactly the behaviour described above. But if I select Values E or F, that doesn't happen, and the list is at the top again.

Has anyone seen this? Is there a way to fix that?

What's unique about these values, is the text longer than other values?  I'm guessing you have the drop-down list select on itself when the variable is populated?  What happens when you run the debug mode and manually populate the variable?

Hi,

tried manually populating the variable; same thing happens. As far as I can tell, the only thing that separates these two particular values from the others is that they contain the capital umlaut "Ö". I do have one other value though that contains a non-capital umlaut "ü", where this is not happening, so I kinda figured that umlauts shouldn't be the culprit. Maybe umlaut *and* capital letter; I don't know.
