URGENT- File Download dialog presented by IIS when using ISAPI URL

Hi,
I have installed Cognos 10.2.1 version along with the Data Manger in my system (in a single server) . The Configuration has completed without an error But on using the Gateway URL to connect Cognos Connection : http://host_name : port number /ibmcognos/isapi. , the browser pops up a file download window that asks if I want to save the file "cognosisapi.xts&startwel=yes" My choices are Find, Save, Cancel; none of which get me access to the cognos content. 
What would be the solution to the problem ? If anyone aware of this , please do help.

Why you would be shouting urgent on a fresh install is beyond my understanding.

I must agree with bdbits.

Your URL looks wonky.  Try http://servername.domain.com:port[80]/ibmcognos.  Cognos will redirect you to the right place based on the settings in Cognos Configuration -- probably http://servername.domain.com[80]/ibmcognos/cgi-bin/cognosisapi.dll?baction=xts.run.........  Don't manually try the whole URL yourself.
