Report Hangs for user on own machine, works fine on someone elses???

So I've had a couple of users come to me and advise that reports which used to run normally are now hanging and refusing to run within the 10 minute max-runtime setting.

When I run the same reports using my Admin login, they work as normal.

In both cases, if the user logs into Cognos under their own user ID on my laptop, they can run the report as normal as well.

Has anyone seen anything like this before? Users are hitting Cognos via IE with compatibility view enabled, (which at my site usually fixes any random weird report behaviour) but in this case does not.

Understand this could very well be an infrastructure issue and unrelated to Cognos but thought I would throw it out there in case anyone had seen it before and knew how to fix it.

I've had similar issues, and they've all been fixed via compatibility mode.  Since the users can run the reports without issue from your machine under their logins, you can rule out a permission issue.  Was there anything you missed with compatibility settings?

Another thing to try would be if any cookies or temporary files are getting in the way.  Before deleting cookies, can you try running IE in incognito mode and accessing Cognos?
