conditional nested column hide in crosstab

i have a crosstab where a users can hide certain columns by prompt selection. i use a conditional variable to toggle box type none. problem is when the columns are hidden, the alignment of the columns are thrown off. any ideas on how to fix? i have attached an image. the items in grey are hidden when the prompt is selected. then the last 3 columns become misaligned.
