Publish only runs once

Hello Planning Gurus!

I am experiencing a particularly odd issue on which I would really value any insight.

The issue is with publish jobs that only ever work once - when the publish container is first created. Any subsequent attempts to publish the same application will fail with identical errors in the Planning log:

'Only one row of data was expected, but at least two were found'.

Is anyone familiar with this? I've a sneaking suspicion that this is somehow related to a database issue, but I can't provide sufficient evidence of that to go to my DBA currently.

I'm running Planning 10.1.1082 on a Windows 2008 R2 box. DBMS is DB2 version 9.7.

Any and all suggestions would be very gratefully received!

Cheers,
Oscar

Most recent engagement with Cognos support would suggest that this is related to the Windows 8dot3 file name convention. The volume on which Planning and our DB2 client tools are installed has 8dot3 disabled. The suggestion is that we uninstall Planning & DB2 clients, enable 8dot3 on that volume and then reinstall. I'll update here if this is successful, but if anyone else has any experiences with Planning/DB2/8dot3 interactions I'd be fascinated to hear them.

Happy Friday all!

I seem to recall that we had issues with the 8dot3 name convention on 10.1.1 FP1.

This was indeed the solution. A recent server rebuild had neglected to enable the 8dot3 convention. All working now!
