External Data Size Limit (workaround?)

Hi gang.
I am on Cognos 10.2.2 and read about the external data size limit of 2.5 MB.  I can see where in FM I can change the governor settings but don't know what is the max I can set and if it could be larger than 2.5 MB (and 20,000 rows).  Has anyone figured out a way to make it larger?  I thought data sets would be a fix but they appear to be creating a separate package as opposed to joining a current one.

Bottom line please let me know if you have figured out a way to go beyond the 2.5 MB limit with external data or used data sets for same package.

You control this setting using the governor in FM. You can override the 2.5MB/20,000 row limit.

Remember that this requires potentially heavy local processing, so you don't want to be too generous with this setting.
