I have a list report with column C1(text values), to which there is no data populating from database.

But if i run the report i should get column heading(C1) and column body(with blank) as output, it should not give 'no data available' message !!!

Can anyone suggest how to do this...if i change missing value character to 0 or some value(in data format) still i'm missing both list column heading and list body.

Many thanks in advance!!!

May we assume that your list contains columns from the DB as well as your C1 text column?

If so, how many rows does your query return? You can take the SQL generated by the query and run it in your DB management tool.

Navigate to the list level and change the "No Data Contents" property. If you set it to No Content you'll get the column heading. If you specify the content in the no data tab you can make it look however you please.
