Report Studio - Drill-thru from Source to Targe issue (10.2.1)

Hi, it's me again. Sorry for taking so much of your time. :) :)

I have a Summary Report  (Source) and a Detail Report (Target)

The Summary Report shows/Displays in the Crosstab only the Description of State like (CD=CA, DESCRIPTION=California) BUT the
Detailed Drill-Thru Report only has the State CD as a part of the filter and NOT the Description.

So, since the State CD is not displayed as a part of the Summary Report Crosstab Top Edge, I don't know how to create a Drill-Thru
definition that would Pass the State CD as the Value to be send to the Target Drill-Thru that is using the State CD as a part of the Filter.

The Target Report is a List and not a Crosstab. The source is a Crosstab.

Please help if you can.

Does the target report have access to the state description? Could you bring it into the filter but just not show it in your report?

Alternatively (I haven't tried this, so I don't know if it would work), could you bring your state code into your cross tab, but create a render variable so that it doesn't show/print?
