Renamed report but old schedule persists (and cannot find it to delete)

Good morning fellow Cognos users :)
I will start with system specs.
Cognos 10.1
Windows Server 2008 R2

My issue is as follows: we are updating the names of our reports to meet a new naming convention.
After the updating the old schedule is still running under the old name.
However, the schedule does not show up under either the admin tool or the report, it is as if there is a ghost schedule.
The problem is that if someone needs to update or remove the schedules they (nor I, the admin) are not able to do so.
As such many are getting two reports. Since they could not update or delete the schedule they have created a new one. So they get the new schedule, running under the new report name, and the old schedule, under the old name.

Any ideas or suggestion are much appreciated :)

WOW! I feel like a dork! We are finishing our transition from 8 to 10 (yes I know late bloomer). Well the schedule was recreated in 10 and still persisted in old environment before taking offline. So it ran in both environments.
