Burst report using event studio

Is it possible to burst a report using event studio? Basically we have an alert that looks through transactions for anything over a certain value. It then emails a report showing all of the transactions on that particular batch reference. What I want to do now is send the report to different users based on the type of the batch when there is more than one which has been added into the query as a data item but there doesn't seem to be an option when using event studio to burst a report, only to email it. Am I missing something?

I'd have thought it was possible, but I'm not at my desk at the moment to check. As an alternative, could you put the report into a schedule (that definitely supports bursting) and then put the schedule into the event?

I did think of that as a workaround by running a job but I need to pass parameters through from the alert to the report as a prompt and I'm not sure if you can do this to a job?

Is the report already set up to do bursting? You only get the option to burst when it has been enabled within the report via File > Burst Options.

I have a report set up for bursting and added it as a task in Event Studio and it gives me the option to burst beneath the other delivery options. A report that is not set up for bursting does not show it.

Ah good point... It's been a while since I've done a burst report so forgot about that option... I'll take a look at that. Thanks.
