Hi all,

I have the following problem / i think its a bug.

I have a model that i open in the new 10.2.2 version.

1: Changed the package location
2: Tested the columns (all oke)
3: and run the model/build cube

No problem here.

After saving and closing

1: open the model,
2: Run the model ( I get an error Column mismatch on the first data source column)
3: i do a manual check on the package (column check) and no errors and now the model will run without errors.
4: Saving, and close

open de model and the same thing happens over and over again.
I have to manual check the column of re click the package and it will run. But saving the action en re opening the model keeps getting the same error.

very frustrating.

Who can help me out.

Point

after doing all the steps again with the original model from cognos 8.
i got this message when selecting the same package.

Cognos transformer: The item cannot be selected the data source is not supported in transformer.

no error code or something.

There might be some corruption in the model file. One idea is to try saving the model in MDL format, opening that, and resaving in PYJ format. Backup files first!

What is your data source?

To be completely sure i made a new model, and after selecting a other package i got the same error of source nit supported.
clicking oke and selecting it again an it works. But every time opening the model it sas it has a mismatch or source error, after refreshing it all works oke.

DB is Oracle, tested it against others and get the same error.

Now installing transformer 10.2.1 an 10.1 and see if the same happens here.

Point

When i run the transformer with option run as administrator. All problems are solved,..??

You do need quite a bit of permission to the machine on which Transformer is installed. I always ensure the account running Transformer is a member of the local Administrators security group.
