What is the best way to connect MS Azure SQL DW with Cognos?

Hi,

Can someone help me with this one. My client has MS Azure SQL DW (cloud) and Cognos BI v10.2.2 (on-premises). We are testing this and I'm wondering what is the best (for reporting performance point of view) way to do this?

We have done testing with JDBC connector (MS JDBC v4 drivers), but it didn't work. We have tested also with ODBC connector (this works), but is this the only way to do it or is there any other way to do this (with good/high performance on reporting)?
