Data not coming in the powerplay explorer

The dimensions are not showing its catagories when i run the cube. Is there any way i can check the queries in the db tera data assitant. Just to make a test between the actual data and the data used in the model.

I don't know Teradata, but you can check something in the cube model already.

Open your model.
Go to menu EDIT then SHOW SCOPE
Select Data Sources.

When changing the datasource selection, it will display in Orange dimensions populated by the selected source.
Make sure that you have the datasource populating measures linked to all dimensions.

If you have RED levels, it means that this level needs to be marked as Unique, basically all lowest levels should be Unique.

If dimension are not used by your measure query they will remain White and no categories are displayed in the final cube.

You have to be carefull with the Names in your datasource.
If you have one query populating a City Dimension ( Continent / Country / City ) , the query populating the measure should have the City reference as well with the same typo.

In transformer , CITY is not the same as City

You may also need to "Generate Ctaegories" for the data sources that you are interested in.   You can also preview a sample (upto 1000 rows) of the data in Transformer.
