Not able to access reports from Mac machines

Hi
   When trying to open the Cognos reports from the report URL, a pop up opens up prompting the user to save the file as an excel..Is it happening because of the browser settings? Instead of taking me to the report output, I was getting the attached screenshot as the outcome.


This is happening for all the browsers(IE, Mozilla, Safari) in my Mac machine, but works fine in Windows OS.
