Could you please give a brief explanation about "Local Processing and Database only in report studio". what will happen in back end.
If possible please explain with example.

Hi Krishna,

If you are using cognos specific functions like running-total or running-count and also clause like 'at' then you should set Query processing as 'Limited to Local'.

This is not recommended by IBM, As it takes more server resources for report execution.

If Your Query processing is 'Database only' Then query will directly sent to Database as database configuration is much higher than cognos, So we don't have any performance issues.
