Two more questions re. column visualization

Thanks to Lynn, I got my stacked columns working. Now that the functionality is there, unfortunately design is the next step. On the screensho attached, both visualizations show the same data. left hand as absolute values, right hand as stacked 100% (done manually, as apparently, there is a 100% stacked column chart, but not a visualization.

a) can I modify the series' colors anywhere? I can't find relevant options in the visualization's property.
b) as on the screenshot, the "cutover" on the stacked 100% is in a rather narrow band of values. However, trying to specify a minimum value on the y-axis is ignored if the stacked property is set to yes. Is there a way around this?

Or am I actually using the wrong elements here? Would charts be better choices?

Hi,

what type of visualization do you use?
It looks like Rave Visualization? You should post your question in the Rave Visualization forum!

Hi,

to be frank - I do not know; how do I tell? I am just a user, not an IT guy, and in my company's implementation of C10, when I open the toolbox in Report Studio, there's a "Visualization" element to be dragged into the report page; that is what I am using.

It's possible to modify visualizations to add a palette property (and defined palettes) if you know what you are doing. You're going to need the Visualization Customizer utility from the Analyticszone website, and some snippets of code for the Chart Type Definition, Parameters and String Resources sections of the vizJSON code. You will also need someone with Administrator privileges to import the revised visualizations and make them available for you to use in Cognos. Let me know if you need further details / code snippets.

Cheers!
