making diagrams from large models for users

Hi all,

I'm running into a problem.  I have a model with about 30 views in it in FM - that will likely grow as my user base decides to add more views.   Problem is that they would like to see a diagram of it to analyze relationships and such between the query subjects and columns.

The diagram right now is large enough that it's tough to make it legible at a large enough size.   The very best that I've been able to get it at, to fit it on one page is 1232 X 801 pixels at 96 dpi.     Any attempt to make it larger than that distorts the text of the column names etc.

Does anyone have any experience how to make good diagram images of models that have a lot of query subjects in them?   Maybe I won't be able to make a diagram that can fit everything in it?

At some point it is likely going to be too big.

One thing you could do is launch the context explorer off a fact table, perhaps tweaking it a bit (adding/removing related query subjects). Since users are often interested in a particular subject based off a fact table, this might work for your users.
