Decommissioning Cognos Reports

Hi Everyone,

I have requirement of decommissioning few cognos reports.
As per my understanding, if cognos report removed/deleted from public folders in cognos connection, it will be decommissioned. In case if any batch jobs are there for running the reports as per schedules, only deleting the report from cognos connection means decommision of the report?
Please answer if anyone has faced this issue earlier..
