Change in Active Directory Domain

Hello Folks we are looking for some help on a Active Directory migration. Here is the scenario:

Cognos Version 10.1.1

We are migrating our AD from domain.com to domainworld.com

In our cognos configuration the namespace is DOM and the namespace ID is DOM AD

Once the AD migration is done to domainworld.com the plan is to just change the

1) Host and port
2) Binding credentials

but will keep the same namespace and namespace ID. The assumption is that the CAMIDs will remain the same even after AD migration and so are the user profiles. We have about 250 users to migrate.

Any body has any thoughts or ideas on what to do or what not to do. We are open for any kind of suggestions even if we had to get a tool for migrating the cognos instance from old AD domain to the new AD domain.

Thanks and BR

Sai

OK folks I just tested and found out that once you change the AD domain then the CAMID will in fact change and hence my assumption was wrong. So now what are my options on how to migrate seamlessly with very little downtime.

Any ideas

Thanks and BR
