Firstly, an important question. Why did you post this question as a reply to the thread below:

It seems to have nothing whatsoever to do with the original thread? Are we missing some important information that ties them together?

So - if a report output failed on 9th September, I imagine you'd need to add a filter to the report to limit the date range to 9th September or earlier, then run it again. It's impossible to say for sure, though, because we have no clue what your report does or how it is written or whether it is relational or dimensional. Can you provide some supporting information that would help someone point you in the right direction?
