how to save snapshot of report in cognos 10.2

hi All ,

My users want to save snapshot of a report ,i tried saving the report as report view but that saved reports always show the data underlying the table.

So do we have any way in cognos to capture the snapshot or report output of one period of data so that even if data changes ,this saved report will still show same old period data.

You could use the "run with options" button and choose "Save the report" - this will generate a saved output based on the data at this point in time, and you can view this static output whenever you desire.
