Financial Year to Month Calculation is incorrect - using Relational Package

Hi,
I am using a Relational Package and I need to include a Year to month calculation. we have a financial Year prompt which is in the format of 14/15(Prev Fin yr), 15/16 (current fin yr).
When I select for Current Fin Year (15/16) the Revenue and Budget for Financial Year to Month is correct but when I am selecting for 14/15 or previous years the Finacial Year to Month data is not matching. its showing me the whole Financial Year data instead of July 2014 data (Ex, Fy_Yr = 14/15).

Can anyone please help me.

the report format is like this

Prompt: Fin_Yr --> drop down list (13/14, 14/15, 15/16) (single select prompt)

When you say year to month, are you saying you want to compare just the months?

For example, when you select 14/15, what revenue should be in the buckets: July 2014 in current and July 2013 in prior?

May I ask when your fiscal year starts?  Is 15/16 July 2015 to June 2016?

Finally, how are you grabbing this data?  Is all the logic in the report?  Do you have a date dimension that has a fiscal year column on each date?
