Hello All,

I have installed Cognos 10.1 on my system.

Now I am trying to configure IIS 6.0 on my system which is a Windows 2003 Server

However, I am unable to find the option to "Add Module Mapping" in the IIS.

Can somebody please guide me on to how to do that?

Also I have attached a snippet of the IIS interface on my system.

Appreciate your help.

Thanks and regards

Click on the virtual directory you created for Cognos. On the right pane double-click 'Handler Mappings'. It will open another pane on the right where you will see an option to 'Add Module Mapping'. I am looking at IIS 6.1 SP 1.

Hi,

I have added a virtual directory with alias cognos, cgi-bin and provided the physical path for both.

Now I want to add a module mapping, but I am not able to see the "Add Module Mapping options" there.

I have done IIS configuration previously whereby had an option to right click and "add module mapping". But unfortunately I am not able to find it here.

For ex: Expected IIS server should be like the one shown in the attachment(Handler mappings) that I have attached here. But I am not able to see any of these options here in my IIS server.

Why is this IIS server not showing any of the desired filters? Strange....

Any inputs appreciated

Thanks all for your valauble inputs.

Looks like your second screenshot is from different version of IIS and first screenshot is from different version of IIS.

Can you expand websites option in your first screenshot and then click cgi-bin or cognos directory to find this option ?
Thanks

Yes Both versions are different , First one is IIS 6 and second version is IIS 7.5 above version.
