Hi All ,

I have a report layput requirement in which i have to show a list report should appear below crosstab...

the column for crosstab and list are same...but source for this are different hence i cannot furnish same single chart..that is why i have to go for one list and one crosstab...

i am putting crosstab first, then i am putting list report below it...i am hiding the list headers..so that it can be merged with crosstab header..

but i am unable to align both crosstab and list ...list columns are running away here and there...finally i changed cell width etc of each column so that each cell of list is looking as if it is merging with crosstab cell....i manage to do so with 95% accuracy...and it is coming when i am running the report in IE in my browser

Now issue is which i am unable to understand totally...same report when some other person is running same report in there IE browser
then the alignment of list and crosstab is breaking....but in my browser(machine) when i am running..it is coming perfect....o fix

Please someone suggest me how to fix this..or any better way to achieve same...

Hi nsaxena,
a different version of IE might, but not should be the problem. Have you checked the screen resolution on the other client?
Merging crosstabs and lists are indeed a lot of work. Some things that worked for me:

  • use containers (box/tables) and the set the size of the data containers list/ crosstab as well.
  • reduce the size of the font for the cell values. as you might know, the data in the crosstab "wins" against set sizes in order to be displayed, therefore a reduced size supports a solution with pixel set sizes of columns
  • you also might wanne check if theres a way to nest the list in crosstabs?!
