Hi all,
I created cross table report in report studio 10.2 using Regular dimensional package. person as row from one hierarchy, group as another row from different hierarchy, year as main column then quarter as sub column of main column. When I run the report column displayed number of times for each row results.

Expectation is:
       2013
---------------
Q1|Q2|Q3|Q4
---------------

Reality  :

2013|2013|2013|2013|2103|2013|2013|
-------------------------------------------
Q2    |Q3   | Q1   |Q2   |Q3    |Q4   | Q2  |

How to resolve this issue?

Quarter is sorting order.
Here Q2,Q3 for one job Q1 to Q4 for another job, Q2 also different job of one person.

Please let me. Thank you.

Sounds like you have some serious issues with your model. If you have modelled your time dimension properly, you should end up with four quarters below each year - exactly what you desire. Other than telling you your model is wrong, there's not much else we can do to help with the basic information you have provided here.

Cheers!

Hi MFGF,
Thank you for your response. yes, each year having four quarter that is my requirement too. Here I modeled Time_Entry as hierarchy Time_entry_Id as business key and ACT as member caption. Year, Quarter, Month belongs to the same hierarchy.

Hi,

That doesn't tell us why your quarters are not appearing below the years they should belong to logically. All we know about the way you have modelled this is:

QuoteYear, Quarter, Month belongs to the same hierarchy

As I indicated before, there's little we can do to help if you provide such scarce information. Can you provide details of exactly how the hierarchy is modelled, what attributes exist on the levels, what the business keys and member captions are and examples of the data values used for each?
