putting carriage return inside a text block

Hi all,  this might seem like a very simple question but for the life of me I can't seem to figure it out.   How do you put a standard carriage return inside a text block in Report Studio.   I'm working with a report, that I'd like to put a few lines of instructions into a text block.  And the report view treats it as one big long line, and only breaks the line when it runs out of space on the page.  I tried putting in <p> html tags but that didn't work obviously.  :)

nevermind :)  -  I kinda hacked around a little bit and I got a decent workaround using Rich Text blocks and HTML blocks.

The other way to do it is to change the 'Source Type' of the text object to 'Report Expression'.  Then whatever you put in between two single quotes
'like

this'

will show up as entered.
