Gauge Visualization Data Format

I must be missing something obvious but I cannot figure it out. I've got a simple gauge visualization to show a percentage. The figure which displays across the center of the gauge is in full precision, out to 8 decimal places or so. I just want the data format to show 1 decimal place, but when I set the data format it doesn't comply. I found a data format property on the measure as well as on the top level property for the visualization, but changing one or the other or both doesn't seem to budge what is displayed.

I have attached an example from one of the sample packages. It shows up as 55.10976129% when all I want is 55.1% .... it must be Friday for something so simple to elude me!

Hmmm.

You have something weird going on there, Lynn. Setting the data format of the measure to percent and one decimal place should be all that is required.

I just put your report xml into Report Studio (completely unchanged) and this is what I see:

I know this works in your environment too - there's an Active Report I did some work on that uses four gauges and it definitely shows the values in the middle to 1 decimal place.

Try closing your browser sessions and logging in from scratch - might be something cached?

Cheers!

That was dangerously close to "Have you tried rebooting?" - you're not trying out for a spot on our help desk are you?

You'd need to learn some of the acronyms used for resolutions:
Code 18 - problem was found to exist 18 inches from the monitor
PICNIC - Problem In Chair, Not In Computer
Problem cause = ID 10T

You guys are too much fun. Haven't gotten back to this yet, but I recall we had a problem a while back that produced an error when trying to apply a data format. The article below describes it along with a solution that worked for us. I don't know if anything else has changed in the environment since, nor do I know if this is related but I feel quite sure that there are gremlins at work somewhere.
