Hi,

I have recently encountered the following error on an install of CEX 10.2.1 on a Win 2008 R2 server when launching Cognos Administration from CEX Manager. The error message affects the following Cognos Administration tabs Status\Current Activities and Status\Upcoming Activities, it will also occur if I try and do a CM export.

CNC-GEN-2107 An unexpected error has occurred. The message is: JVMVRFY013 class loading constraint violated; class=org/apache/axis/message/MessageElement, method=getSchemaTypeInfo()Lorg/w3c/dom/TypeInfo;, pc=0

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ian

Hi,

Might be a long shot, but what happens if you disable your virus scanner? Does the issue disappear? I'm wondering if your virus scanner is "interfering" with some of the requests Express is sending?

Worth logging this one with PBM as a PMR, I think :)

Hello,

I've have managed to fix this issue, using the tech note here http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21672385

There was another IBM technote which gave you a web.xml for you to overwrite at location <express_path>/webapps/p2pd/WEB-INF, this file caused the error message. This technote has now been removed

Pleased to have got it sorted.
