Running Report as PDF causing errors in PDF

Hi,

I have a large report (35 pages) containing tables and charts. The report takes roughly 5 minutes to run and is set to run as PDF by default. If I run this report via Cognos Connection or via Report Studio, the PDF generates but when I get roughly half way through the report the PDF displays blank pages and errors. This happens for multiple users and doesn't seem to be affected by the version of Adobe Acrobat Reader that people are using.

If I schedule the report, save the report output, or email myself the report upon completion the PDF generates successfully every time.

Has anyone ever experienced this before? Are there some tuning settings I need to adjust for when people are generating PDFs on the fly?
