Hi All,

I created report using dimensional package. Now, my boss requires me to export it in excel with drill down options. I tried to export it but all members are not included. Only those that were last displayed in the report. Kindly advise me if it is possible because my boss says it is.

Hoping for your kind assistance. Thank you in advance! :-)

I am not clear on what you mean by "export it in excel with drill down options". Can you clarify that?

What exactly is missing that is wanted? Some of the rows, some columns, some measures/facts?

What you get in an export is going to be whatever is in the report when you simply run it from Cognos. You may need to alter your report so that it includes everything you want to see when it opens in Excel.

Is it possible your boss is referring to using Cognos Analysis For Excel  (CAFE)? This allows you to build reports directly from within an Excel interface but using your Cognos-secured and modeled data. It also supports drill down/up, slice-and-dice etc.
