Date Filter not working

I have a database column Audit_Close_Date which is of date datatype with values as below

3/6/2009
11/28/2011 8:51:01 PM
2/26/2009
6/21/2010 4:23:35 AM
4/2/2012

I am creating a date prompt in Report Studio and filter my query using [Audit_Close_Date] > ?Date_Parm?

It does not give me error but does not filter right, it always gives me blank result vs I know that data exists in database.

If someone could please tell me what is wrong with my filter, i tried both date and date time prompt but no luck
