Export Live chart

I have created Chart and related List in single page . When it exports to excel , user wanted to have interactive chart. It means, after exporting to excel , when they change the data in list it should reflect in chart

If they want interactivity they're either going to have to run the report in Cognos Connection, or else you're going to have to create an Active Report.

User does not want Active reports, open report studio - choose list  and plot chart.. export this data to excel . This excel will have List and chart. Now they want to change the value in list and it should reflect in chart. Same funtionality is available in Microstrategy, Now they are in the process to migrate Cognos. So users are are expecting the same thing.

This functionality is available in Cognos - within an Active Report. Why isn't this an acceptable option for your users? Why are they insisting on using Excel?

Most of the end users are comfortable with Excel view not MHTML. Also we cant edit list data in  MHTML.

Sadly, you're not going to be able to give them exactly what they want in Cognos 10. You either give them static content in Excel, or active content in MHT. Those are the choices they have when using this technology.
