Hi,

We have C8.4 installation on 2 servers, one is primary and other is secondary. We started getting error in secondary server when we test audit DB from cognos config. The eror is -

"IPFTEST-006, Logging failed to connect to database:jdbc:oracle:thin@imart:1526:cogprod"

Same audit DB is successfully tested from primary server - cognos configuration and from cognos portal. As per IBM documentation "http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21371382", its a JAR file issue. But we have everything in place and the ojdbc14.jar file is same for both the servers. Also, content store is tested successfully from this secondary server. We have -

Cogos 8.4
windows server
Oracle 10.2g as CS and audit DBs.

Please help and suggest.

Hi,

Does this solution work well with cognos analytics (11.0.3) as well? Audit Store and Content store are based on Oracle 12c DB.

Yes it does. I copied the ojdbc7.jar to 'drivers' directory previously by mistake.
