Hai Team.,

I have created a report with different teams from Team1, Team2,...,Team5. We have different delivery managers for the team and no one is interrelated to each other. So I have created different users as Team1, Team2,Team3,Team4 and Team5.

I created report with the dimensions of Client, Resources and Team. So, these there things are interrelated. This stops me to build the report separately for the teams.

My problem is when I run the report am able to access all the teams. Here Team1's delivery manager is no need to see the other teams report. So, I need to hide the remaining team reports for Team 1 and for all the remaining teams.

Is it possible to hide. If so Please guide me.. Am struggling in this problem for more than a week..

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Is the report package you are using based on modeled metadata in Framework Manager, or on data from the embedded CXMD (TM1) engine?

Assuming the former, you can add Data Security (security filters) to the team query subject in FM. Take a look at the Framework Manager User Guide - Chapter 6 (Publishing Packages > Security > Adding Data Security)

http://public.dhe.ibm.com/software/data/cognos/documentation/docs/en/10.2.1/ug_fm_express.pdf

Cheers!

MF.
