Is there a possibility to execute the Cognos report by Linux Command Line Prompt?

There is a script in our scheduler that executes the daily refresh of the data. Once it finishes we want to execute the Cognos report by scheduler itself.
Since the load finish time is uncertain, so we do not want to be dependent on Cognos Scheduler.

Hi,

There is an option within the scheduling dialog for a Cognos report (or job) to have an external trigger fire the schedule (rather than a fixed date or time). YOu can find details of how to fire a trigger using trigger.bat or trigger.sh here:
