Unable to Connect to datasource with AR8MSWIN1256 character set

Hi,
I have the data Source connection which is configured to Oracle with AR8MSWIN1256 character set.
In FM I am able to connect to the data source but while importing table it is throwing below mentioned error;

RQP-DEF-0177 An error occurred while performing operation 'sqlColumns' status = '-9'.
UDA - SQL - 0107 A general exception has occurred during the operation "columns".
                    ORA -00911: Invalid character

I am trying to fetch arabic data and also tried changing the model language to Arabic. But no success.

Please help!


Update: To update on the same if I change the SQL type to Native or Pass-Through, I am able to fetch data but Cognos SQL is giving problems.
