Hello Everyone,

I've got a Customer who is experiencing an error when navigating to the Access Tables in CAC:

Unable to perform action.
Automation error
The object invoked has disconnected from its clients.

The PEL shows the following:

{1626A474-027B-48A9-86B3-3C354170E301}   1   2015-12-01 10:51:15.606 UTC +0   EAdminUI_10   10.1.2688.0   pgAccessTables      PopulateGridsDListsAndDCubes   370   ACE2_10.Model   -2147467259   Unknown error   domain\user   domain\machine   None\None   None\None   6972   19192

Anyone experienced this before? Any ideas?

Further to this: both servers and client machines have been updated to FP4 from FP3.

Many thanks,
Dev

The first thing I would check is that all servers are in fact patched to the same version. I had a similar error and though we had applied the patch it didn't seem to move the version up, so either we didn't do the work as we thought or there was an install issue (most likely the former (PEBCAK)). After identifying the mismatched server we reapplied the patch and everything was fine.

After that I would check the settings in Cognos Configuration to ensure that all settings are still intact.

Thanks for the tips, Danno, I'll give that a shot.
