Hi,
I am trying to secure the data in one of the General Ledger tables. I have a number of Cognos groups that are associated with Cost Centers in the G/L.
I have added data level security in Framework Mgr by adding filters in the query subject and linked to the Cognos groups.
If I add myself to one of these groups, I can only see the data for that Cost Center. So far, so good.
The problem I run into is this. If I am not in one of these groups, I have access to all G/L data.
How can I set it up so if you are not in one of the Cognos groups, you won't have access to the G/L data.

Thanks.

Hi,

Add the "Everyone" group too, and define a filter for it that will never evaluate to true

Cheers!

Meep!
