Hello all,

I am trying to prototype a dashboard page (portal) in Cognos Connection, where I have 3 portlets, two from Cube A and one from Cube B.

I can make the two portlets using Cube A communicate with each other, but when I try the same settings on the Cube B portlet I get:

QE-DEF-0359 The query contains a reference to at least one object '[Cube B].[Regional Offices].[By All Regional Directors].[Regional Director]' that does not exist.

I have tried setting the communication option to "by parameter name or data item", and it still doesn't work  (under Report Properties > Prompt Values > Match on).  The reports all have a data item called "Director", but obviously they have different paths since they are in different cubes.  I am using the same portlet-channel for all 3 reports.

Any ideas?

Hi - Did you find a work around for this issue?  I'm facing the same problem.

I have three different cubes but they all contain a "task" dimension.  I need to be able to drill down on one porlet and have the others drill down on the same task.

Thanks
