Hello,

We have a scenario, where we identified 8 dimensions and 7 measures. We need to create a report on these measures and dimensions. Here, all the measures are not applicable for all the dimensions. I have 3 measures which are applicable for 4 dimensions and another 4 measures applicable for 5 dimensions and 1measure applicable for only 1 dimension.

Is it efficient to build one cube for all these measures and dimensions. If not, can we build two or more cubes and create a report on these cubes.

Please suggest.

Thank you.

It sounds to me like in reality, you actually have three fact tables. In which case three cubes would seem appropriate.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. Is it possible to build a report using two or more cubes.
