Running-Total Query Issue

I am having a problem passing the correct values from one query (let's call it query A) that uses the running-total function, to feed another query (query B). Query A calculates running totals on a weekly basis by location. Query A works fine...it gives the expected results. However, when I feed Query A directly to Query B, all but the first row/week results / rows are showing incorrect results. For example, for data from last month (5 weeks worth), the 1st week/row is correct, but the 2nd, 4th, & 5th week/row are all wrong (i.e. none of those numbers match numbers from Query A), & the 3rd week/row has the numbers which should be in the 5th week/row. I have tried changing all sorts of aggregation and roll-up and other query option settings, but have not been able to get anything to simply pass the values generated in Query A to Query B. Hopefully this makes sense...any suggestions or ideas of what is going on here?

try passing the result of query A to another query (let us call A1). A1 should contain only the data items needed no more no less. then pass A1 to query B.
