Hi,

I have seen many of the links for freezing list and crosstab using javascript.
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/data/library/cognos/page242.html
here, it is been mentioned for Cognos 8.2 and 8.3.  I am used to Cognos 10.2.1.  So javascript does not work for this properly.

I also looked for scenario in Cognos Proven Practices; Where one of them using CSS and another one using Javascript.
I tried using CSS but did not get properly. I tried using Javascript, it is working fine.  Also it has been mentioned only for crosstab (freezing of crosstab row ) not for list.  So can anyone tell how to freeze header of list.

Thanks.

Hi Yogeswari,

Please refer the below link.

http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/library/ba-pp-infrastructure-cognos_specific-page641/

they have mentioned "IBM Cognos 10.2 introduced a freeze column and row headers feature in IBM Cognos Viewer. Therefore this technique only benefits users of earlier versions of IBM Cognos BI."

i was not able to find this feature. Request our experts to guide us regarding this.

You can freeze columns headers on list reports by right-clicking the column header.

As far as I know, it only works for list reports.
