Unable to invoke 'GetModel25'

Hi everyone,

I've just done an install of Planning Complete 10.1.1 and FP3 over the top of it on a Windows Server 2012 R2 box, amended the necessary config files to allow SQL 2012 as a database and it all starts up nicely, no problems. The issue comes with creating an application in the CAC.

The CAC itself opens up fine and goes through the initial step of creating and populating tables, I add the datastore and click on "Create Application", however after selecting the application and clicking "Next" from the eList screen, it greys out the selection box and then sits there for an age. Only way out is to cancel from Task Manager and that's when the following pop-up appears:

The Wizard is unable to go forward because of a problem.

Unable to invoke 'GetModel25'

Automation error
The remote procedure call failed

I've checked the PEL but there's no further information beyond what's listed above. I've trawled the interwebs but not seen anything that relates to exactly what I'm experiencing. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on where to start looking? DEP has been enabled for essential Windows programs only and the initial install of Cognos Planning was done by right-clicking and selecting "Run as Administrator" from the floating menu.

TIA,
Dev
