Is it possible to link to a specific Cognos portal report/tab with parameters

Hi,
I have a master report in which the user can make selections and run the report they want to. I would like to link this master report to specific tab in a portal page by passing parameters (the selections the user has made it in the master report)?

The portal page can have 5 tabs (each tab pointing to different report). So, basically I would like to pass parameters from the master report to 3rd tab in the portal page? Is this possible?

I can link to the first tab in the portal page by href but couldn't a) pass the parameters and b)link to specific tab.
