Report rendering differently between environments ?! [RESOLVED]

Hello,
We are currently changing the platform at our company, from AIX based 10.1 to Windows based 10.2.

Due to an interim solution we have a cloud based Linux dev-environment running 10.1 , and the test-environment is a Win-based 10.1.

In DEV (Linux), our reports based on the template from the old AIX 10.1 looks fine.
However, when deployed to TEST (WIN) they look awful. Not only issues with fonts but many format things such as padding and line colors are displayed different.

Important to underline is that, it seems that the undefined things in the report (where a font is not explicitly stated) or when a line colour is not explicitly defined, are the things that differ.

The reports and template properties show that Report Styles are set to "8.x Styles"

Here is a link to the specefication of the template. I have just copied this report when creating new ones. Without links or such.

Example screenshots appended:

Is this a template issue, or could it rather be a configuration issue in the platform, any ideas would be welcomed!
I have stated in several points that they one is windows and other Linux, but the issue may not be dependent on that?

Helllo Again guys, If no one has an idea for this. I would at least appreciate so much if anybody could please try this template at one of your environments (preferably 10.1 or 10.2 Windows and see if there are issues?

Do not have access to any other environment combination/image = (

Server platform should not render the reports very differently. Some ideas off the top of my head.

* The prompt page buttons remind me of the older 8.x look. I do not think that is a result of using the v8 versus or v10 report style settings, as changing that in RS only modified the buttons slightly. If it is not defined in the report, styles are going to come from the defaults in the Cognos stylesheets on the server. So I wonder if the web server is pointing at the right directories for web content? Something to check.

*Are you by chance using a custom style in Cognos connection (see Preferences on the General tab on the Style dropdown)? If so try setting it to a built-in style (not sure what the default is, maybe Corporate).

* Are you viewing them through the same browser on the same OS? (Not the server OS, the desktop/laptop/end-user OS.) What I am getting that is if you are viewing them on different OSes and/or browsers, that could be a factor in how it looks.

Obviously I do not have your data source and so cannot run the report, but what I see in RS with Windows server and desktop is more like your Linux (or AIX?) screenshots. So I think it probably is a configuration issue with the Windows server.

Thanks very much for checking, I also managed to get a hold of an Image based on WIN, and the template worked there also. So now it really seems like an issue with environment config/setup.

But now the question is, what the hell it could be.....

I tried accessing the environment from another browser , firefox, and also different OS and machine and we still get the same issue. =/

What theme (style) is selected in the preferences of the user you log in as? Is it the same style as the user you log into your Linux instance as?

MF.

Theme was 8.x in both environments when opening the reports!

However, Issue is now resolved! It was an issue in the environments, apparently some files in the webcontent folder had to be corrupt. Because I copied this folder from one environment to the other , cleared cache in the desktop-client browser and now everything is rendering correctly in all environments.

I dont know the root cause, on why this happened in first place. But if I find something I will share it here.
