Blank Page returned when running Cognos8 reports

We are experiencing a random issue whereby users run Cognos8 reports through Cognos Connection and no output is returned. It just displays a blank page and then it disappears. However, users can run it the next day or another time and get proper output displayed. Has anyone encountered this before?

Users are using IE8 and IE9.  I thought it might be browser related however, you would think the issue would occur every time users run the reports if this was the case.

Hi,

Take a look in cogserver.log to see if any errors are being reported by the ReportService (or any of the other services in the architecture). Is it possible the server is low on memory?
